Majani Teas Review

Recently I've been more of a tea drinker. There's something about waking up in the morning and having a some hot tea that just jump starts my day. I was lucky enough to try Majani Teas.
"Majani (mah-jaa-nii) was founded in 2012, by the son of a Kenyan tea farmer. After completing his graduate studies in Finance and Policy from Columbia University, he sought a sustainable way to help small scale tea farmers.
Majani’s mission is to source fine, naturally grown, organic, fair trade Kenyan teas to benefit small scale tea farmers and responsible consumers. Our passion for the environmental sustainability, the well-being of producers, and our customers, inspires us to only source fair trade, organic, and rainforest certified teas and herbs. Majani Teas exports Black Teas, Green Teas, White Teas and Oolong Teas of the finest qualities worldwide, in an effort to create a healthier day for each of you.
"

So far I've been drinking their breakfast and green tea.
The Fariji Green tea is my favorite. It's very smooth. I don't like adding extra's to my tea and I didn't have to with this one. Green tea has always been an extra to my day and this one is quite good. I also liked the breakfast tea. It was also smooth and I did add a little bit of honey to this one. --
I've never been a huge fan of black teas. I let my co-workers try that one out.

They also offer White Tea, and Oolong tea. You can also buy variety packs like the one I received.

Did you know that Kenya is one of the oldest tea producers in Africa? "Tea production in Kenya is divided into large-scale farmers (ca. 40%) and smallholdings (ca. 60%), who run their own tea gardens and sell their teas to cooperatives. We at Majani carefully pick the best and most experienced small-scale producers to source our quality teas."

I like the bags also. I like how there's a featured bird on each of the bags. You can find out more about the birds here. To find out more about the company check them out on their website, facebook, and twitter. I've always been a fan of tea, and glad I had the opportunity to try Majani Teas.

The Real Deal Snacks Review

There are so many different kinds of snacks out there that it's unreal. The snacks that I received are called The Real Deal Snacks. The creators were one of the first to make corn chips and tortilla chips! "So when you reach for The Real Deal, you reach for the original".
There are two types of Snack Mixes. Original and Chili Lime -- I'm a huge fan of both, and I can tell you that when I brought the Chili Lime one to work, it was gone within a day or two. They are totally addicting. I almost brought the original to work with me, and then I ended up bringing it back home with me and snacked on them during my ride home.
The Cheese Crunchies remind me of Cheetos, only they don't leave your hands so messy. These are Gluten Free.
-- Two flavors of Veggie chips: Original and Siracha. I'll be honest, the original are too plain for me. I wasn't a huge fan. However, the Sriracha flavor is amazing. I'm literally addicted, and will only help myself to a handful at work so I can make the bag last. You get a hint of the Sriracha flavor in every bite and it leaves your mouth watering. It's so tasty!
They offer White and Blue Tortilla Chips -- I bet they are just as tasty as the rest of the products.
Last but not least, they offer Corn Pretzels. --- As you can see there are a variety of products you can choose from. You can buy them on amazon.com Or you can see if they are sold near you.

To find out more, find them on facebook and twitter.

ChicWrap Review & Giveaway

ChicWrap is a dispenser that's easy to use, and looks cool as well.
"The Allen Reed Company was founded in 1992 by Ian Kaiser and Sean Neiberger. The Company became known in the food service industry for its innovative products for dispensing and cutting plastic wrap. Now the Company has turned its attention to the "Retail Housewares Industry". "We have been extremely successful providing safe, easy-to-use solutions for professional chefs throughout the United States. We've now applied this knowledge to creating innovative products for the home," said Neiberger. Plastic wrap is the most economical food storage option with more than 80 million boxes sold each year throughout the United States. "We focused our efforts on changing the way consumers dispense and cut plastic wrap in their homes, with an emphasis on simplicity," says Kaiser. "We call our approach 'Disruptive Innovation' because of the way our products have completely changed industries for the better."

I've never been a fan of using plastic wrap. I always have trouble getting it out of the container, and also putting it around my foods. For some reason it just doesn't like me. When I saw ChicWrap, I knew that this dispenser would be the right fit for me, and it's also quite stylish.
Chic Wrap offers three different types: Plastic, Foil, and Parchment. The one that I received (plastic wrap) has a Zip Safe Side Cutter so you don't have to use the standard cutting thing on the plastic wrap you get at the store. I always find that hard to use, and easy to hurt yourself. The wrap inside the dispenser clings tighter to your objects and holds longer. It's easy to use, and there are instructions on one side of the box!
There are different designs for you to choose from. Check out some awesome review videos here! Check out if they sell them in a store near you.

I love my dispenser and I love how easy it is to use. I use it all the time with leftovers and when I bake. It's also brought some color to my kitchen! I also like that I can re-use it when I run out. -- Enter below for your chance to win your own ChicWrap! Good luck!

Soleil Mimosa Review

When I think of Mimosa's I think of Champagne and Orange Juice on a weekend morning, or for a celebration. I've also always thought of them as just orange juice and champagne, that's it. I never knew there were other flavors out there. I was able to try Soleil Mimosa and was able to try a few different flavors.

Last week was a rough week, actually the last few weeks have been rough. I decided to have my neighbors over for some drinks and food last Thursday night. I told them this would be a special night and we would be trying something different. I decided to use this get together as a time to try the Mimosas out. I received four flavors: Pomegranate, Mango, Pineapple, and the Original. We decided that we were going to try two of them. We tried Pineapple and Pomegranate. However, we didn't try them as one... we mixed them together for a tasty drink!
Between the three of us, and mixing both of them, we finished both bottles! I still have Pineapple and Original left, and I'm saving that for another get together with friends.

"Soleil,” the French word for Sun, is pure sunshine in a bottle. A blissful blend of luscious juices and premium white wine, graced with light effervescence, Soleil Mimosa (formerly St. Clair Mimosa) is the love-child of French ingenuity and American hard work. "

If you head over to the website, you can find different recipes that you can use these Mimosas with. I didn't realize you can cook with them as well. It's quite cool.

I'm so glad I was able to try these Mimosa's. It really opened me up to something different. I'm excited that I still have some left and I can share and introduce with some more friends. It's nice to spice up drinking every once in awhile. ***Drink Responsibly*** If you're interested in trying these out yourself, you can buy online, or you can see if any retailer has them near you. Or you can check them out on facebook. Remember " The Sun Never Sets with Solei".

My favorites were the Dulce de Leche and Cappuccino flavors. As soon as you put one in your mouth, you want to grab another and another. I also shared some with work (the originals), and they were eaten up very quickly. Some people have never tried Meringues before either, so it was nice sharing a different kind of treat with them. They also offer Enrober Cookies (this I have to try). They look so incredibly good. Check them out today! Moon Cheese Snack Review

I LOVE cheese. That's one piece of food that I will never give up. I love all sorts of cheese too. I also love anything that has the word cheese in them... or a form of cheese... like cheese balls, cheetos, cheddar chex mix... those types although I don't eat a lot of that because of the processed ingredients. So anyways, I found out that there's a solution for cheese balls... another type of cheese balls... the best kind of cheese balls there are out there... what's that? Moon Cheese!

Moon Cheese are all natural snacks made out of real cheese! It the "cheese that crunches". They are High in Protein, all natural, gluten-free, and contain all excellent source of calcium.
There are three flavors: Cheddar, Gouda, and Pepper Jack. I will admit, I'm not a Pepper Jack fan, so I gave that away to a co-worker. My co-worker comes back the next day and asks "so where can I buy them?". I told him online, as they are a new snack and aren't sold all over yet. But real cheese snacks, a real good for you cheese ball. So incredibly tasty. Tastes just like the block of cheese (with a crunch), and a good on the go type of snack.
I took mine to work where I'm always hungry during the day. I paired up my gouda balls with some apple and it was the perfect combination. You can buy them online if you'd like! $4.99 per bag, and the bag could last you a few days! To find out more, check them out on facebook and twitter.

Kitchen Hero Silicone Gloves Review & Giveaway

I don't know about you, but when I'm cooking and handling hot items, sometimes I don't feel like my oven mitts do a good enough job. They get all messy, and sometimes they slip off, and sometimes I even burn myself! I was sent a pair of Kitchen Hero Silicone Gloves to review, and I can tell you this, I don't think I'll use oven mitts again!
These gloves protect your hands from hot pots, and pans. My favorite part about them besides the protection, but they are EASY to clean. The grease or mess from your food comes right off with a little bit of water. I also like that they grip on to everything. I don't feel like they slip off at all. I cook almost every night and there have been so many times when I've burnt myself, or had to use a double mitt, or better yet... just not happy with my oven mitts. I really like these Silicone Gloves. They make things so much easier in the kitchen.
They are FDA approved, and they are quite durable and flexible.

So besides using them in the kitchen... I used them to clean the other day. My bathroom is always the messiest next to the kitchen and sometimes the regular gloves I'd use to clean just stick to me and I'm not really a fan of them. Back to the point, I used these gloves to clean and after I took them off I felt good. I didn't feel dirty as I normally do with other gloves. -- There are probably many other uses for these gloves! So check them out today! You can buy them on amazon, by clicking this link. If you're interested in buying some.. use this coupon for 5$ off: SO7MF8YC -- better yet, enter below for your chance to win a pair of these Silicone Gloves! Good Luck!

There are so many different products to choose from, and I received two of them.
The Honey-Fragrance Hand and Body lotion is awesome. I keep it at work with me and I put some on my hands all the time. I work on a computer a lot and also a lot of paper, so I feel my hands getting dry all the time. It works wonders. It has a subtle honey fragrance.

I also received the Pomegranate Lip Balm. I'm always looking for lip balm or chap stick, so this is perfect for my purse. It's definitely the season for chapped lips and this moisturizes them right up! I also love Pomegranate so this is perfect for me!

You have to check out their product listings. They have so much to offer, that it was so hard to pick, and I'm extremely glad with the products I was able to try out. Meal Measure Review

Portion Control is the one thing my trainer and my mother and pretty much everyone always tells me. It's pretty much 75% what you eat and 25% of exercise, but what you eat is determined by portion control. I always nod my head and say I'm going to read the nutrition label to see what a portion would be, but I never actually measure anything. It's definitely time to start doing that. Meal Measure is the perfect tool to help along with portion control. It measures your portions for you. It's pretty simple, and easy to take on with you for those on-the-go meals.
So how does it work? There are four different spots for food. There's one for protein, one for starches, and two for either your fruits or veggies, or even one of each. There's a line in the middle of each spot, and that's for half of a cup, and if you fill it to the brim, well that's 1 cup. Place your food within those spots, lift up the meal measure, and you have your foods measured out perfectly for you. It's pretty much the best tool ever created. I always measure out my meals now. I always pack a lunch for work, so I'll measure it out before I put it into my tupperware. I feel like I'm benefiting more from measuring, than when I pretended to "measure" in my head.

You can find out more about the meal measure by checking out their website. On the website you can watch a demo as well to see how to work it if you're still unsure. You can also read other reviews on there, and you can buy yourself a Meal Measure today! If you're looking for a jump start to a healthier eating plan, this may just help you out! It's helped me for sure, and I wish I listened to my family and friends back in the day, because portion control really does help!
